Dao Jiang Senior High School English Immersion Program
In the spring of 2003 a multi-discipline program was created for the students of Dao Jiang School in Tai Pei,Taiwan a "sister school" to Tamagawa , offers its students
a chance to participate in this custom-designed, 4 week English Immersion Program at the Tamagawa Nanaimo Campus yearly.
This very successful
and popular program, again structured around "Zenjin"and experiential learning, expose the young students to a variety of local communities,
sights and cultural events on Vancouver Island. Except for a 6-night home stay experience within the city of Nanaimo, the Dao Jiang students
live at the Tamagawa Nanaimo facility studying English, exploring personal development path and leaerning how to succeed in a foreign, English-Only
environment.
In addition, the students also participate in a 5-day outdoor education course at Strathcona Park Lodge, tour the city of Victoria and visit Vancouver.
